You have found the site for the Descendants of Confederate Veterans, A Texas Association. We are a non-profit organization incorporated in Texas. Our membership is made up of descendants of Confederate Soldiers, Sailors and Government Officials. We are a patriotic, historical, genealogical and educational organization. We deplore racial supremacy of any kind, as we do the misuse of Confederate symbols by groups such as the Ku Klux Klan, skinheads, neo-Nazis, etc. We have an unquestioned allegiance to the Constitution of the United States of America and the principles of our founding fathers. We are proud to pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America while not requiring that pledge of our members who are not United States citizens. The majority of our founders are either Veterans of the United States Armed Forces or sons or brothers of Veterans. We are proud of their service under that flag and proud to be patriotic Americans.
